Lydian Ar ("the App") is a music theory education application developed for personal learning. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

The short version: Lydian Ar does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data stays on your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Location data of any kind
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics
• Audio recordings or microphone input
• Contacts, photos, or any other device data
• Payment information (the App is free with no in-app purchases)

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using standard local storage. This data is never transmitted anywhere.

• Learning Progress — which lessons you have marked as "Completed" or "Needs Attention"
• Lesson Notes — any personal notes you write within a lesson
• App Preferences — theme (light/dark), sound effects on/off, notifications on/off, flashcard shuffle on/off, metronome volume level

You can clear all locally stored data at any time by using the "Reset All Progress" option in Settings, or by clearing the app's data through your device settings.

4. Device Permissions

The App requests only the following device permission:

• Audio Output — required solely to play the metronome click sound through your device speakers or headphones. The App does not access your microphone.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social media plugins. No data is shared with any third party under any circumstances.

6. Children's Privacy

Lydian Ar is an educational app suitable for all ages, including children under 13. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, we fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
