Terms & Conditions — Lydian Ar

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lydian Ar ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Lydian Ar is a music theory education application that provides structured lessons, interactive learning tools (including a metronome, flashcards, Circle of Fifths visualiser, and Modes visualiser), and a personal note-taking feature. The App is designed for educational purposes only and operates entirely offline on your device.

3. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This licence does not allow you to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose or on behalf of any third party
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

4. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including lesson text, music theory content, interactive visualisers, UI design, graphics, and code, is owned by or licensed to the App developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The presentation, curation, and interactive implementation of music theory content are proprietary to Lydian Ar. Your personal notes created within the App remain your own content and are stored only on your device.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be completely uninterrupted or error-free at all times. Educational content is provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge, but we do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy in every musical context.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Lydian Ar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. The App is intended for personal educational use only.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be reflected with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
